In the sands of Kuwait they gathered, a seven-company battalion nearly 1000-soldiers strong. The date was March 18, 2003. The Battalion would not assemble like this again for more than two months. The Command Team moved forward from Camp Pennsylvania to the Iraq-Kuwait border, establishing the Command and Control to maintain the breach lanes through which the entire V Corps would pass.
